The longest leg with the most miles

Winds are good to us, 6.5 hours flying time has been reduced to four hours (for now) due to reduced headwinds. One hour into the flight winds are getting even better, we have reached a record ground speed during this trip of 189 knots!

We can't tell you how relieved we are. This is the most difficult flying day of the complete route. Over the Pacific Ocean...and we are having no more than 5-10knots on the nose.

We are so de-hydrated, we went for a wee this morning, than in Russia, no need to go yet. Eyes are getting very dry, especially mine because of the contact lenses. I took the lenses out for a little while, that made it difficult to write down infos as I had packed my glasses into the suitcase and not into my backpack which is in front of me.

...and we are very thirsty.

We decided not to wear our suits after Russia because of the long distance flight and not be able to use "Little Jane" and "Little John" while wearing the suits. And we knew we had to go during a 6.5 hours flight. The estimate flying time is still 4 hours.

We talk about having a XXX largest beer to drink at arrival. As you know: we usually do not drink beer. I think we will have 3 or 4 beers, we will celebrate. First shower, than beer, than sushi. What a celebration.
